Monaco vs Guingamp by JerryDrake
Even if I am not expert in French football one just needs to have a look at the tables to understand where is the value here.
Monaco could still reach PSG and win the title but in order to achieve this Monaco should win all next three games and PSG should lose all of them. I doubt it. And if I think that Ranieri, coach of Monaco, has not a contract for next season I can imagine that the management of Monaco already sees this championship as gone.
With Ranieri (eternal second in Italy - but I really like him for his class) out of future projects, and with Monaco coming from a good series of positive results I imagine that they have reached the 'goodbye-phase' of the season, the moment where you can lose games or reach draws without having to run 90 minutes.
Guingamp are fighting to book a place in next Ligue 1 season and, after winning the Cup, they will want to save their team from relegation.
Guingamp to win is too risky, also because Monaco have no important players missing as far as I know (except Mr. Radamel).
So, My 'bet of the day' is this one. Monaco will do like Roma and PSG will win the title. Ranieri, I hope to see you soon again in Italy.
