Roma vs Juventus by JerryDrake

Roma have given up in Catania and tonight Juventus will start with Atalanta their new race to the 100 points or, at least to the record registered by Inter when they finished with 97 points.

You will think 'why should then Conte play with so many reserves against Atalanta if he were really interested in this record?'. I answer: because he wants all of the best players to be available for Rome and actually Juve can defeat Atalanta also with reserves.

In Rome Juventus will not allow Roma to win. Because they want to reach 100 points but also because there is a rivalry now between Garcia and Conte as we have read in their last interviews in the past weeks.

Odds 2.15 offered by William Hill on the Asian Handicap is too high. I would offer 1.80-1.90, not more.

As I already wrote in my 'Juventus - Atalanta preview', Carlos Tevez wants to win the Top Scorer title and create doubts in the Argentinian coach for the World Cup squad. The trainer already had to concede something when he stated that 'should a striker get injured Tevez will be the first option'. Not so much conceded though.

Juventus lost in Rome in the Coppa Italia match (1-0 for Roma) but Juventus played with many reserves if you remember.

This time is different (I hope and think) and I take this bet now. Correct score: 0-2 Tevez, Marchisio

Hi Jerry.

As you know I enjoy reading your tips and I am always on the look out for you. But this time I must say that I will leave this game alone as Juventus doesn't convince me at all. I saw them against Benfica and they were bad away and at home. If Roma take this game seriously(which I don't know, You tell me if you have informations), they will win easy.
But we all know anything can happen in football.

Good luck anyway.

good point Expert. I have just read that Gervinho promised his fans to score two goals. And the time of the match has been changed due to the accidents which took place before 'Fiorentina - Napoli' when a criminal in Rome shot a Napoli fan with a gun. Also Mattia Destro will be back affer suspension and he will want to convince Prandelli for the World Cup. Dodo is out, probably also Toloi, Juve miss only Vidal. Risky bet, you can skip it even if I am convinced that Juventus will want to show that they deserved this Scudetto. It depends a lot on Juventus. I had the impression that they kept e

Hi Jerry, sorry for the delay, I just saw your post today.
The return of Destro (Roma's top scorer) and Benatia (our best central defender) and the absence of Vidal will play in Roma's favor. I really like both teams to score as a bet and might sprinkle some money on the draw. I'm obviously hoping for a Roma win and I do think Garcia will push his players to play their best game of the season against his new enemy. Moreover, all the Roma players, staff, tifosi and Romans in general will want to win this game so we can prove to the rest of Italy that we should have been the ones winning the

Storari will play at the place of Buffon. If I well remember Storari comes from Rome and he is Roma fan and once with Sampdoria he won in Rome (big surprise) and he saved many goals. And Roma lost the Scudetto.
