Hiroshima vs WS Wanderers by Alexis1016
Sanfrecce Hiroshima will face WSW in the first leg of 1/8 finals in the AFC Champions League.
Sanfrecce Hiroshima could be more rested for this game than WSW because they played on Saturday and WSW on Sunday. Anyway, the aussie team played a tiring game in the A-League final against Brisbane Roar. Also, the morale could be affected after that game because WSW was very close to win the final, but they lost after extra time.
Hiroshima it's the better side here, they have home advantage and they could be more fresh for this game, especially as WSW played with the best squad against Roar and it's possible that coach Tony Popovic to make some changes in the first 11. It's true that Sanfrecce also used almost the best squad in the last game with some exceptions, defender Shiotani and captain Aoyama were on the bench and both didn't played. In this conditions, I think the japanese side has a good chance to win this game. To note that, WSW lost on Japanese earth in the group stage against Kawasaki Frontale, 1-2.
