Valerenga
VS
Sandnes-Ulf
Valerenga did not manage to copy their great win two weeks ago against Bodo/Glimt (3-1 win), as they only got a draw against Haugesund (1-1) with an equalizing goal in the 92nd minute from the penalty-spot. However, they played very well and they showed a lot of eager as they have done so far this season. Valerenga is in 10th place after a 1-1-1 record from the first three games of the season. Their new striker from Iceland, Vidar Orn Kjartansson, has really brought his goalgetter-reputation into Tippeligaen as he has three goals in three games so far. In addition, today’s opponent is much weaker than the other opponents they have met until now. Midfielder Kristoffer Haestad (0/0) is back in training after his injury, but will not play today. Striker Daniel Fredheim Holm (1/0) is available again after a minor-injury, while 2nd goalkeeper Lars Hirschfeld (0/0) is still injured.

14th placed Sandnes Ulf has made a terrible impression from their first three games with only 0-2-1 and 3:6 on goal difference. They were still able to get two draws against Brann (1-1) and Odd (1-1), but they got knocked down the last time they travelled to the eastern part of Norway against Lillestrom (4-1). Midfielder Henrik Furebotn (1/0), defender Emil Johansen (0/0) and defender Vegard Aanestad (0/0) are injured for the away side, while defender Kenneth Sola (3/0) is fully fit after getting a minor knock during the week.

Sandnes Ulf is conceding way too much goals this season, and even if it is still early in the season, we are starting to see some tendencies on the teams here. Valerenga was very impressive in their last home game against Bodo/Glimt (3-1) and they are facing their weakest opponent so far at a brilliant timing. This should be a victory for Valerenga seven days a week.pin
