Millwall vs Doncaster by 20legend
Millwall has done a remarkable turnover as they are unbeaten for the last five games (3-2-0) and beaten teams like 9th placed Nottingham (1-2), 5th placed Wigan (0-1) and 13th placed Middlesbrough (1-2) in addition to a draw against 12th placed Watford (2-2). The words cannot describe their effort as it counts the most, and today should be another possible task for them as a totally out-of-form Doncaster pays a visit. Midfielder Richard Chaplow (19/1) is available again after recovering from his injury, while midfielder Ed Upson (10/0) is out for the rest of the season. Defender Daniel Shittu (22/1) is still missing out as well due to his injury.
Doncaster is in a far different situation when it comes to form as they have lost four straight games with only 1-0-4 on their last five fixtures. They have lost against 18th placed Birmingham (1-3), 14th placed Bolton (1-2), 8th placed Ipswich (2-1) and recently 3rd placed Derby (0-2). These results show that there is no difference if they meet poor teams or better teams; they lose no matter what these days.
Their highly important striker Chris Brown (37/9) is expected to play today. He got a cramp in his hamstring against Derby (0-2) in the last match. Midfielder Richie Wellens (36/0) and defender Lucas Neill (3/0) are available again after recovering from their injuries.
The importance of three points here cannot be any clearer when we look at these clubs’ situations. However, while Millwall has built up some magnificent performances at this stage of the season, Doncaster has done exactly the opposite with four straight losses. Even if the match means everything for both teams, it is no doubt that Millwall has the momentum and therefor also the advantage today.
