Wizards vs Miami Heat by Tennisguy

In this match we have the Washington Wizards hosting the Miami Heat in a very important match for both teams.

Washington is trying to avoid having to play in the playoffs against the nr.1 or 2 of the eastern division as they are only one win ahead of the Charlotte Bobcats. On the other side Miami still wants to fight for that nr.1 spot that will probably bee very important that will assure home court advantage if they manage to get to the eastern final of the playoffs against Indiana again.

Normally Miami doesn't play that well in Washington for some reason as they have lost the last 4 out of 5 matches they played there. These however are much different circumstances as they will probably come with their A game. This will surely be an almost playoff type of match that will be very interesting to watch.

There one thing that really concerns me is that they might not want to try to get the nr.1 spot because that will mean they will have to face Atlanta in the first round. LeBron did say that they are still hoping to try to get to the nr.1 spot so I think that might be encouraging for this match(quote: "It's not finished. I see the standings," "There's a couple games still left and the seedings are changing every day."). I personally don't think they care that much about who they face in the early round as they will probably win comfortably against anyone of those teams there. The main thing for them I believe is to try to fight for that nr.1 spot, even if the chances are slim. That home court advantage will really matter for Miami as they will probably get to the conference final again and the most probable team they will face will be Indiana.

This is a risky one but the odds are quite rewarding if you take Miami and because I personally still think they want to clench that nr.1 spot I pick them to win in this one.

Looks like Bosh and Lebron rest.

Well that's a statement of Joseph Goodman who is a columnist for the Miami Herald and says "Bosh and LeBron likely out tonight." I only checked the official sites and NBA.com and there was nothing there about this. If this is true however then this bet might not be so good.

For Miami the second seed is better now. Vs Toronto will be easier than vs. Chicago Bulls. And Indiana wont losw the last game in Orlando.
