Jong Twente vs Jong PSV by 20legend

Jong-Twente
VS
Jong-PSV

Jong Twente surprised most people by beating 7th placed De Graafscahp (2-1) in their last game. They are still in 17th place with 40 points after 34 games so far, but their form has been better toward the end of the season. They have got 3-0-2 now after a dreadful period of five straight losses. Even if they have no new suspended or doubtful players, Jong Twente has a lot of injured ones. Midfielder Leugers (9/0), defender Kuiper (12/0), midfielders Hemmink (5/0) , Tapia (16/1) and Tanda (23/0) are all missing.

Jong PSV took a big loss at their homeground against Den Bosch (1-4) in the last match. However, they got De Wijs (4/0) sent off with a red card, so the youngsters had to play with 10 men. They lead 1-0 on to that point, before collapsing totally and lost in the end. Jong PSV has a chance of reaching the playoffs, but with their A-squad PSV Eindhoven (5th) playing for the 4th place which gives a direct spot in Europa League next season, I doubt that the youngsters will see that as highly important. As mentioned defender De Wijs (4/0) is suspended, while his fellow defender Hermannsson (25/0) is injured. However, they will get the highly important midfielder Horsten (27/1) back from suspension.

These are two reserve squads with a lot of youngsters. It is therefore not a shock that their results are very inconsistent through such a long season. That is also a factor for the injury-problems for the home team as well. The instability can also be seen in terms of the over/under statistics. Jong Twente has 20/14 on that area, while Jong PSV has 25/9 this season. Their last meeting ended with a 2-1 win for Jong PSV. It is a totally open match this one, but over 2,5 goals should be a very good pick here, and especially when Unibet offers 1,62 at this scenario.
