Stabaek vs Molde by 20legend
Molde showed their level in the opening game against Valerenga (2-0) two weeks ago. However, they did not manage to beat Odd (2-1) this time either as they got a deserved loss away from home. This is another game away from home for Molde, but this game is one of the most expected three-pointers for them on paper all season. They have also a lot of money in the club, and they have bought Pape Pate Diouf form FC Copenhagen, which will be another asset to this team. It is expected that he will start this afternoon. 2nd keeper Espen Bugge Pettersen (0 games) and the young midfielder Eirik Hestad (1/0) are out with injuries, while midfielder Emmanuel Ekpo (0/0) is doubtful.
This should be a victory for Molde as they have a lot of experienced players in their lineup, and their level within their squad is a lot better compared to Stabaek. However, Stabaek’s coach Bob Bradley has brought a lot of confidence into his young team, and he manages to get the best out of each individual as well. The striker Frank Boli is a player to watch out for, but with Molde’s two central-backs Vegard Forren (2/1) and Even Hovland (2/0), it should not be an easy task for Boli to create many chances. The visitors are the clear favorites, but because of Stabaek’s tendency to surprise lately, I will go for Molde to score at least two goals here, even if the odds are lower than the 1x2 odds.
