Monaco vs Young by Tennisguy

This is a second round match from the Houston ATP tournament between Juan Monaco from Argentina and Donald Young from USA.

These players have only met once in 2011 in the Paris Masters tournament where Monaco won 6-4, 6-2.

That was a long time however and Monaco in the last year not only hasn't played a lot of matches but the ones in the ones that he did his performance was very shaky to say the least.

Normally if Monaco would have been in full shape this would have probably been an easy win for him. This is not the case however and if I add the fact than Donald Young looked incredible in his first match here I think he will have a huge chance here to advance to the next round.

Monaco played in the first round against Dev Varman and won 7-6(4), 6-2. He wasn't really that convincing and Dev Varman really doesn't play clay court matches that much.

Young on the other hand defeated Harrison 6-0, 6-1 and seemed like he was in the form of his life. He barely lost any point on his service and was moving incredibly on the court.

Overall it might be risky but if I compare the form that these two players showed in their previous matches I have to say Young looked a lot better so I'm picking him to win today.
