Ajax are top of the league with the best defence and one of the best attack in Eredivisie. In fact, they have kept a clean sheet in 5 of their last 7 matches in the league and they are undefeated in their last 18 league matches. They have not lost an away game in Eredivisie since the end of October 2013 with 4 draws and 7 wins in their last 11 away games. Mathematically, the league is still not secured and as such, they will do their utmost to win the title as soon as possible. Midfielders Fischer (24/3) and De Jong (18/7) are injured while defender Moisander (23/1) is doubtful.
Chelsea owner Abramovich is in partnership with Vitesse with many Chelsea younsters being sent to play in Eredivisie. As such, reports have emerged that Vitesse are deliberately losing matches so that they do not reach the second place for Champions League qualification. In fact, UEFA does not allow any owner to enter two teams in Champions League and as such, former owner of Vitesse (Merab Jordania) is suggesting that Vitesse will not play to win because they have been given instructions to drop points.
The allegations may be true because Vitesse suddenly started losing their good form without any significant reason. Since Vitesse are not interested in Champions League, I doubt their motivation in upcoming games. Ajax are surely the in form team in the league at the moment and it's difficult to see them losing against an out of shape Vitesse side.
