Connecticut vs St. Joseph's by QuidProQuo
In tonight's round of 64 we have #10 seed St. Joseph's Hawks vs. #7 seed Connecticut Huskies. If you take a look at over/under trends for these teams you'll see that almost every trend favors the under, but play-off games are whole another story and I believe there's value in betting the total to go over tonight...
The Hawks are scoring 71.3 points per game and giving up 66.9 points per game, while the Huskies average 71.9 points per game and allow 63.1. It's quite simple, if the Hawks want to win game they need to have great offensive night and outscore opponent. I think they can put around 70 points tonight. Very good thing is that they are getting balanced contributions from their roster. Langston Galloway, Ronald Roberts, DeAndre Bembry, and Halil Kanacevic all work together with great precision, and they all made big individual plays on their own when they were placed in one-on-one situations. Galloway and Bembry operate more on the perimeter, but they can attack the basket. Roberts is a remarkable athlete with a lot of leaping ability. Kanacevic is a thoughtful, clever post player with an assortment of moves and shots that are very effective. This team has so many weapons on offense that Connecticut won't easily be able to guard Saint Joseph's.
The Huskies had defensive war vs. Cincinnati last round and when they play fast paced team they can put more than 70 points as well, which i think will be the case tonight. Take the over...
