Chelsea suffered an away defeat against Aston Villa in their last league game. After midfielder Willian (20/2) was sent off in the second half, Aston Villa somehow managed to score a goal (1-0). In the closing minutes of the game, midfielder Ramires (28/1) and coach Jose Mourinho were also sent off by the referee.

This defeat is actually a good thing to bring Chelsea back on earth. Before that defeat, Chelsea were on a 14-game undefeated run in the Premier league. Now, Mourinho will realize that his team cannot underestimate their opponent at all and this will force him to demand even more commitment from his players to play at their very best. Substitute defender left back Ashley Cole (13/0) and substitute midfielder Van Ginkel (2/0) remain injured and they missed training on Monday, so they won't play today while midfielders Matic (9/0) and Salah (2/0) are ineligible to play.

Galatasaray were held to 0-0 draw against Karabukspor. Their away form leaves much to be desired at the moment. In fact, they have not won any away game in the Super Lig since 2 months and in the Champions League, they have not won any away games this season, suffering 3 defeats and 1 draw from 4 matches played, conceding 10 goals while scoring only 3 goals. Midfielder Aydin Yilmaz (6/0), midfielder Emre Colak (13/0) and defender Gokhan Zan (10/0) are expected to be out. Main Goalkeeper Muslera (21/0) is doubtful but he should still play.

In the first leg, Chelsea dominated the first half and they should have closed the game in the first half itself given the number of goalscoring chances they created. However, they were not efficient enough in front of goal. In the second half, Galatasaray improved their performance and they deservedly got the equalizing goal with the match ending 1-1. Chelsea have the upper hand in the second leg as they have the away goal and Galatasaray will have to find a way to score tonight but it will be very difficult to do so against the solid Chelsea defence and they are playing away.

Besides, Mourinho knows the two best players of Galatasaray very well, notably midfielder Sneijder (20/9) and striker Drogba (23/10). Maybe he knows them better than coach Mancini because Mourinho has worked with them for a very long time. With home advantage, Chelsea will most likely do enough to get a win here under normal conditions (no red card, etc). Maybe 1-0, 2-0 or 3-1. Also, Jose Mourinho has never lost a game against Roberto Mancini.
