Olympiakos vs Panathinaikos by Tullamore

Olympiakos
VS
Panathinaikos
Olympiacos was impressive against the struggling Manchester United on Tuesday evening and the 2-0 victory was a fair result, considering the hosts' performance during the 90 minutes.

The Reds have done a great job at Greek Superleague, remaining unbeaten since last year's February, recording 3.31 goals per home game this season.

They are taking Panathinaikos in good spirits, after the triumph against England's champions and i cannot imagine anything than an astonishing performance once again.

Mitroglou is not with Olympiacos anymore, but his absence has not affect the team's offensive performance at all.

The hosts have a huge roster, compared to others in Superleague and i don't even mention the quality difference.

Maniatis and NDinga were solid on Tuesday and so were Dominguez and Cambell at the front, who both managed to put pressure to the opponents defensive line.

Even if Olympiacos give some rest to Dominguez or any other key member, it can always replace him with a good player, like Fuster for example.

Panathinaikos was shocked by Ergotelis last Sunday and left with a point by a game, that there were many complaints about the referree's decisions. The Greens are 2 points down PAOK,

at the "playoffs table" at the moment and they need to cut the distance as much as possible or at least stay above Asteras Tripolis, trying to gain any advantage.

I like Panathinaikos effort this season, where everyone at this team knew that it was never going to be easy from the beginning. There are signs of improvement lately regarding the team's

behavior on the field, but they are still nowhere close to Olympiacos level.

On Sunday, there will be a celebrating atmosphere for the hosts, even if they haven't eliminate Manchester Utd yet. Panathinaikos is struggling when it comes to defend and this will be

a tough situation for them. Olympiacos loves playing through the flanks, utilizing its explosive wingers and full backs, but there's also a strong midfield, which can cause damage through the middle.

The Greens are young and unexperienced. I do not forget the first round, where Panathinaikos was better, even if it lost that one, but i don't think it will be something familiar this time too.

Olympiacos has 24 victories in 26 games and this will be another solid performance. Pick the hosts to score 3 or more times.

Good luck.pin
