Dortmund is plagued once again by an injury crysis, with Bender the latest adition to the injured list. Sven Bender would have started from the first minute since Gundogan is missing, also with Hummels questionable he could've be an option for the central defender post. In adition to Bender's absence, Borussia will have to deal with Zenit without Gundogan, Subotic and Blaszczykovski. Reus is questionable but should start from the outset also Lewandowski eventhough he is feeling sick should feature from the start. On the other hand Zenit confronts with different problems; the last competitive match the side from the city situated on the banks of Neva has played has been more than 2 an a half month ago. Also Spalletti's team has been a disappointment lately with only one victory from their last 10 matches in all competitions. Quality wise Borussia still has the upper hand, but judgeing from the last matches the "prussians" have played, if they cand squeeze a draw from this encounter they should be more than pleased. I expect an even fought battle tonight, with both teams more concerned about the result than their game. Eventhough many expect a goal bonanza I expect a scrappy game with a maximum of two goals recorded on the scoringboard at the end of the game.
