Arsenal
VS
Sunderland
Following the defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League, morale of the team is completely down at Arsenal. Record signing Ozil (21/4) is definitely out of form and Wenger stated that the midfielder has been negatively affected and he is considering giving him a rest. Leading scorer Giroud (24/10) is also suffering from depression because of some personal problems as he publicly admitted that he was cheating on his wife. He is expected to play though. Also, the Arsenal coach said he is going to rotate the squad because the players are too tired having played 4 games within 12 days with only 3 days rest between each match. Defender Vermaelen (7/0), defender Gibbs (22/0), midfielder Ramsey (18/8) and forward Walcott (13/5) are expected to be out due to injuries. Substitute players such as midfielders Diaby (0/0) and Kallstrom (0/0) are also out.

On the other side, Sunderland are in impressive form. In fact, in their last 15 matches (in all competitions), they have lost only twice, drew 3 matches and won 10 games. They have even eliminated both Chelsea and Manchester United from the League Cup and they even defeated Everton in an away match in the Premier League (0-1). Despite their amazing performance both in Cup games and in the Premier League, they are still lying in the relegation zone. But judging from their performances, they are more than motivated to earn points. Goalkeeper Westwood (10/0) is injured but in his absence, goalkeeper Mannone (16/0) has been protecting the net and till now, he has done a terrific job which has earned him praise from many football pundits. Defender Wes Brown (13/0) is suspended and substitute defender Cuellar (3/0) is doubtful.

Arsenal have lost only once at home in the Premier League this season and many people are expecting a comfortable win for Arsenal but I don't think it will be easy and with Wenger resting some regular first team players for this match, Sunderland certainly stand a chance to get something out of this game and they will be fully motivated for this match as they need to get out of the relegation zone. Also, they are the fresher team having a whole week to prepare for this game.

Sunderland are undefeated in their last 6 away matches in the Premier League. The odds are too good and I am going with a small stake on Sunderland Asian Handicap +0.75. If they win/draw, the bet wins and if they lose by 1 goal, only half of the stake will be lost.
