Leeds vs Huddersfield by Kamlesh

Manager Brian McDermott and acting chief executive Paul Hunt have been sacked by new owner at Leeds after they complained about interference in running the side from a prospective new owner. Fans are angry, they are on the street protesting and players are confused. The team was already performing badly since 7 matches, they are winless, drawing 3 and losing 4, conceding an incredible 13 goals while scoring only 4 goals. Striker Matt Smith is banned for two more games and El Hadji Diouf is set to leave the club this week. Midfielder David Norris and second choice gk Jamie Ashdown will also be missing, while forward Noel Hunt is a doubt after only recently returning to full training.

On the other hand, Huddersfield have won 2, drawn 2 and lost 3 matches in their last 7 games played. They have a good defence as they don't leak too many goals and a decent attacking power. Huddersfield's midfielder Danny Ward is expected to start alongside forward Nahki Wells, as leading goalscorer James Vaughan is struggling with a knee injury. New signing forward Joe Lolley is hoping to make his debut for the club.

With both teams having an eye to secure the playoffs, I think Huddersfield have a good chance to win since the Leeds defence is poor and has conceded 14 goals in 14 league games at home. Also, Leeds are winless since mid-December last year. Besides, they will be managerless for this match and this may have a negative effect on the team's morale.

Last two encounters between these two teams ended in a victory for Huddersfield both home and away.
