Milan vs Torino by JerryDrake

With two consecutive wins over Verona (1-0) and Cagliari (2-1) Milan (28 points) are now only five points behind Inter and four behind Torino (32 points). Also Torino come from two consecutive wins: the first one has been in the away game with Sassuolo (2-0) and the second one at home against Atalanta (1-0) through a mistake done by the referee.

With a win Milan would get closer to the Europa League zone and give a new meaning to their Serie A season. The results in the league are important to Milan but even more important will be the preparation for the Champions League fixtures with Atletico Madrid on February 19 and March 11.

Torino already found the sense of their season: the main target (avoid relegation) is very close. Now the next step for Ventura's players will be to continue their run and fight for a place in the Europa League while Cerci and Immobile will want to continue scoring and hope for an airplane ticket to Brazil next June. They have nothing to lose and this could cause big surprises from now on.

Clarence Seedorf will have to reorganize once again the defense and goalkeeper Amelia will have to take goalkeeper Abbiati's place. Even if they won in Cagliari 2-1, the defense have received negative notes by the newspapers: Amelia made a big mistake, maybe because he has not recovered completely from an old injury, Bonera was very slowly as he was also against Sassuolo, Emanuelson gave no support to the midfield and suffered Cagliari players Dessena and Pisano. Maybe Essien will make his debut, I dont know if he is ready yet.

Last time Torino defeated Milan at San Siro it was in 1985: 1-0, goal scored by Austrian striker Walter Schachner. Since then there have been many Milan victories and some draws.

It is always difficult to bet against Milan but I will go straight as I am sure that Cerci and Immobile will play a great game. If not now, when should they win in San Siro again? Torino to win. Correct score: 1-2.

For example u can take AH(+1) for Villa versus Everton

Everton has injury crisis the latest blow is top scorer Lukaku
Villa is in good shape, and they are undefeated in their last 7 away matches vs Everton

You missed AC Milan bad period where you could have made money playing against them. Now your tip is out of the question here. Milan is not thinking about Champions League match, that is your prediciton. I'm huge Milan fan and I never read that Milan is stating already to think about CL. Honda and Montolivo are out of champions league. Milan will start to play better under Seedorf. Torino is in good shape but they won against low ranking team. I don't say Milan will win this without a problems but I'll stay out of this match. Probably 1-0 or 1-1 result here

I agree Mirce, they are professionals and they will not underestimate this game. But I meant that to be prepared for Champions League (as target for the best form) is more important, if they had to chose. I bet on Torino not because of the CL but because Torino have nothing to lose now - they are different than Verona which gave up a little recently, and because the defense of Milan are doing damages. They risk a lot with Cerci and Immobile.

Referee: Damato. With him, Milan 7-3-3, Torino 4-2-5.

I really like your picks but I think you are too "hungry". You could win with your Napoli/Fiorentina tip last week if you chose some AH. But good luck for you, maybe you are the best tipster and you'll make good profit at the future I guess :)

You missed that Toro's D'Ambrossio went to Inter? There is no way in hell Torino will get a win here, not even the draw.

Hallo Petryfan, I respect your opinion but I'm not an encyclopedia, so I did not write this information about D'Ambrosio (as I did not write that Nocerino left Milan, that Balotelli is suspended and many other aspects that one can find). D'Ambrosio played his last game with Torino on Dec. 8, 2013. Torino results without D'Ambrosio: Udinese - Torino 0-2, Torino - Chievo 4-1, Parma - Torino 4-1 (Parma the only team winning 4 in a row in 2014), Torino - Fiorentina 0-0, Sassuolo - Torino 0-2, Torino - Atalanta 1-0. It makes 4W, 1D, 1L. So, D'Ambrosio is not Antonio Cabrini or Paolo Maldini, n

Ok, I will have a look.

the fact that Baloteli is out, is good news, not bad news.

noone like him inside the team.
