Novara vs Avellino by JerryDrake

I was preparing a preview on this game and wanted to tip for Avellino. I already imagined to write many details and motivations and explain why I think that Avellino will win this game and suggest an Asian Handicap bet on Avellino.

They are 3rd in Serie B and undefeated since 6 games. After his long break Avellino have the opportunity to start again the league and make a step forward. When they promoted to Serie B their first target was to avoid relegation. Now, after this good first part of the season (10 wins, 7 draws, only 4 losses), they must have seen that big names are not big teams and many teams which where favorite for promotion last summer, now are behind them in the table.

A normal further step would be to develop plans and use the resources you have and try to reach higher goals: to play the promotion playoffs in the best possible conditions or even try to reach the first two places.

Avellino remains in the history of Italian football of the 80s: Do you remember Juary, the great José Guimaraes Dirceu (one of the best Brazilian players at the World Cup in 1978 - he played in many teams and used to be called "lo zingaro del gol" - he died in 1995), Stefano Tacconi, Fernando De Napoli? They all played with Avellino. Many historical Italian teams lost important games in Avellino. The Irpini played their last Serie A tournament in 1987-1988.

I personally remember that when I used to watch Serie A highlights on TV in winter, the most of the times that Avellino played at home you could see lot of snow around the football pitch. I remember many teenagers screaming behind the TV commentator Luigi Necco every time he tried to comment the game and then he used to get very angry. Like many Italians, I used to enjoy as child radio live commentaries, TV highlights, read and re-read Gazzetta dello Sport, even the ones of the past weeks. I remember also that our mother used to get as angry as Luigi Necco and started threatening to confiscate all our football sources, included TV, as I spent the whole day watching football with my brothers.

Novara have played some days ago a difficult game in Varese. Goalkeeper Kosicky saved his team many times included a penalty kick in the second half. Varese succeeded to take the lead but again Novara scored in the last minute in one of the very few chances they had.

From my "previewing" point of view I see a strong Avellino with a very good striker, Galabinov, and a solid a compact team ready to surprise everyone by starting winning more games on the road. I see a Novara tired from the last match played in Varese just four days ago on a heavy pitch. I see a Novara which will have to play without suspended striker Rubino who already scored 5 goals in only 9 games played. Pesce will also not be available. Avellino to win here.

After this, I have read some articles online and wrote some comments on Trapani - Padova together with other Betshooters. And I must admit: from the "previewing" point of view Avellino should win. But in Italy it is dangerous to bet on teams right after a long break. One must wait at least one round and see. Remember my first tips on Serie A after the winter break? All wrong and believe me, the thoughts behind those tips were correct.

Romantic football of the 80s is gone, for the moment at least. You cant touch these games using your hearth and brain. There are too many interests which you can not properly calculate in the very first games and a good tipster must also warn you, he must avoid losses. A Betshooter must be a striker and a goalkeeper at the same time: he must look for chances and score, he must save when there is a danger. I agree with Betshooter Informatico. This weekend Serie B is a betting danger, lets save our money. All teams are still busy with new signings, everyone is restructuring and rebuilding. I want to see how Trapani and Avellino and other teams (Carpi, Pescara, Brescia) will play t
