Miami Heat vs Boston Celtics by QuidProQuo
Rajon Rondo is back and he gives the Celtics a little extra energy (although he's still rusty and searching for his game). Also, Jeff Green always plays well against Miami.
Miami had just played a tough game last night @ Atlanta ending a six game road trip and I would expect them to struggle early on and then try to pull out late. Also, big factor tonight is will Dwayne Wade play. Considering that he probably won't, i like the Celtics even more to cover both half-time and full game spreads.
Miami is also very bad in this spot (big home favorites). They usually pull out late and manage to win games, but they more often than not fail to cover spreads. Seems like they often can't find motivation to blow out weaker teams.
Miami is just 4-10 ATS last 14 games as favorite, 3-8 ATS last 11 vs. a team with a losing record and only 7-19 ATS in their last 26 home games following a road trip of 7 or more days. They are also just 3-8 ATS in last 11 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400 and 4-9 ATS in their last 13 games as a favorite of 5.0-10.5...
