Crusaders vs Dungannon by Sureseye

Crusaders left Portadown aggrieved with a 1-1 result; they've lost another two points this time in an unfriendly manner. Having made an equalizer, guest thought they've scored the winning goal from a deflected shot. Referee had already awarded a goal only to make a revert decision. Coach Stephen Baxter wasn't pleased with the officiating but although satisfied with the performance and had called other matches 'must-win' if they are to stay close to Linfield and Cliftonville on the first and second spots on the table. Timmy Adamson remains a doubt. Colin Coates, Chris Morrow and Matthew Snoddy will all be assessed after injuries sustained on New Years Day at Portadown but will still be in the squad. Andy Smith who recently signed for the club will go straight into the squad.

Youthful side of Dungannon are coming from a 1-0 home loss when they welcomed Glentoran. Guest even had a chance to double scoreline from Aaron Boyd's (who was later sent off in the 77 minute) effort that hit the crossbar early in the second half. The loss meant the third consecutive loss for the Darren Murphy side and the third in the last 6 matches. Ironically though, the best of their performances so far have come away from home, as they usually up their game. Today's clash however will be their toughest test on travel. Dungannon Swifts will put new signing Gary Liggett striaght into the squad and he will be wanting to impress immediately. Stefan Lavery is the Swifts danger man and it is a return of a Crusaders "old boy" with Matthew Hazley while star striker Darren Boyce (12 goals scored on 16 played) is no longer part of the team.

It is a must-win quest for Crusader, best league's defensive unit who carry a title stuff and are geared up to impress today against Dunnagon youthful side after their last ill-favoured match. It will also be hard to rule out the organization of the guests too; seems we will have a close match where the host might just relish a 'home advantage'.
