Alajuelense vs Saprissa by Dajkula

Herediano is already in the finale of the Torneo Invierno waiting the better one from this clash. Saprissa has the advantage of 1:0 from the first meeting of the semi-finale but Alajuelense can win this for sure. Alajuelense was in super form before the semis and I expect them to meet with Herediano in the finale. Sasprissa had a tough time on their travels lately and a lot is due to their big injury crysis. Some players are back but important ones are still missing. Saprissa lost 4 of their last 5 travels and a month ago lost to Alajuelense 3:0. Something similar won`t surprise me.

Alajuelense is in great form at home winning 11 of their last 12 games in all competitions. They even managed to win the Concacaf CL beating America in the finale. Their ground is a fortress lately so I have no reason not to trust them today.

Alajuelense has Allen Guevara(mid. 16-2) suspended while the guests have one of their best players Yeltsin Tejeda(mid. 16-0) injured as is the best scorer David Ramirez(att. 13-7) and the third scorer Mynor Escoe(att. 11-5). Kendall Waston and forward Ariel Rodriguez(17-4) are back from injury but who knows what shape they are in.

The hosts have the form on their side, less injury problems and a crowd that was always one of the best in Costa Rica. A win is the only option for Alajuelense.
