AZ Alkmaar vs Twente by Marinos

AZ Alkmaar disappointed last weekend when they lost 3:2 on the road against the worst side of Eredivisie - NEC Nijmegen. Home players simply wanted the victory much more and thus, AZ stayed without a win for third consecutive time in the league. Now, they are at sixth position, six points away from the top of the table and are surely looking at this game as a possibility to win over direct rival in European posiiton battle. They are not playing at bad, as they have also two victories in Europa League in recent weeks, while their draw at home against Roda (2:2) was earned playing with two men less almost for the whole game.

Midfielders Gudelj (14/1) remains suspended for them, while hosts also miss midfielders Ortiz (8/0) and Elm (15/2) both miss out the visit of Twente.

Twente is coming from two consecutive victories, firstly won over Breda with the score of 5:2, but also put up a great performance on the road to Roda with the 2:1 victory. Those six points in two games pushed them to third position and 27 points earned, which is only three less than leading Vitesse. Right midfielder Promes (15/8) is ruled out for the game with an injury, while the visitors are also without midfielder Brama who didn't participate anyway, while left back Koppers (12/1) is doubtful and probably won't play.

Both teams are doing more than well in offense and will surely take attacking approach in this game, led by some great offensive players. Tradition and pure logic says that the game will be all about goals.
