Calgary vs Chicago by 20legend
Chicago Blackhawks has an 8-2-0 record over their last 10 games and it is not many teams that get the better of this fantastic team. After got smacked in the face by hitting a 5-1 loose against Colorado Avalanche in the beginning of their roadtrip, Chicago Blackhawks has answered with three victories in a row against Winnipeg Jets (3-6), Vancouver Canucks (1-2) and finally Edmonton Oilers (1-5). Both of their latest two games, they have been without Marian Hossa (10 goals, 7 assissts) due to personal matters, but he will return tonight, making Chicago Blackhawks even more frightening than they already are. With two tough games upcoming, 1st goalie Corey Crawford will give up his spot to Antti Raanta, who will make his first NHL start tonight.
Calgary Flames beat the Blackhawks 3-2 after OT in the first meeting this season back at November 3rd, but I am sure that the Blackhawks will take their revenge tonight.
One of many reasons is the right winger Patrick Kane (13 goals, 13 assists) who has delivered on a pretty constant basis as the other point-makers in this squad. He has six points in his last five games (2 goals, 4 assists), and he has a great story against the Flames with 4 goals in the last four games against them, and he has had at least two points in three of the five latest meetings with them as well.
I predict another win for the Blackhawks here, and especially with Hossa back in the lineup. However, it will be interesting to see if Raanta could step up in his first start, but I am confident of them scoring anyway. Patrick Kane’s influence on the offensive play is always there and with both his current and previous performances against the Flames, I can see him grabbing another goal tonight.
