Notts County vs Wolves by 20legend

Notts-County
VS
Wolves
Practically top versus bottom table that clash together this afternoon at Meadow Lane.

Notts County are struggling big-time as they are rock bottom with just 10 points after 3-1-11 and 17:29 on goal difference from 15 games so far. They have lost four out of their last five games and will face a huge task here when Wolverhampton pays a visit. Notts County’s new coach, Shaun Derry will take on his first league game with a bunch of unavailable players which will make the task even more difficult. Captain Dean Leacock will be missing during his red card suspension from the midweek cup game against Oldham (5-1 loss). Striker Danny Haynes serves the last of his three-games- ban. However, Andre Boucaud, Jack Grealish, Callum McGregor and Greg Tempest will be missing due to their international duties. In addition, Kieron Freeman is doubtful after receiving a bad tackle toward the end of the game against Oldham in midweek.

Wolverhampton has been on fire all season as they are unbeaten for the last nine games in a row in the league with 6-3-0. They are currently in 2nd place after 15 games with 36 points and a solid 11-3-1 form this season. Their goal difference is also impressing with 29:10, which means that they have the currently best defense in the league so far.

Wolves will miss out six players to today as their captain Sam Ricketts and striker Kevin Doyle are on national duties. In addition Matt Dorethy, keeper Wayne Henneseey , Aaron McCarey, Zeil Ismail and Anthony Forde are all sidelined. Midfielder Kevin McDnald could return after injury, while Michael Jacobs could get his debut for Wolves after he got on loan from Derby County earlier this week.

I can’t expect anything else but another victory for Wolverhampton in this fixture. They are high-flying at the moment and should make a gap in terms of the scoreboard today. Callum McGregor is also the top scorer in the Notts County squad and with him being missing here; they will be even weaker offensively. Wolves should take advantage of their current form and impress right from the start of this game. I can see them scoring at least two goals as they have done in 6/9 last games. I think that they will be dominant throughout the game and score in both halves at Meadow Lane. My prediction: 0-2, 0-3, 1-3.
