Valerenga vs Tonsberg by 20legend

This should be an easy pick from the Norwegian hockey as the current best team in the league meet the worst team in the league.

Valerenga is by far the best team so far after 13 matches played. They have got a record of 9 wins, 2 losses and 1 overtime loss so far with a fantastic goal difference of 62-32, which is a huge difference compared to their opponents this evening. Tonsberg is not good enough for this league what so ever with just 1 win, 1 OT win and 11 losses so far with 32-61 on goal difference. This is by far the worst team and they have struggled bigtime all season. Last week, the board went out in the media and demanded better results from their own players. The team responded surprisingly well at first try with a victory against Sparta Sarpsborg (3-2) which was their first three point game for the season.

Both teams are lucky squadwise as they do not struggle with particular abcenses of importance before this game. It is the final game before the break during play for the national team, so it is important for Valerenga to go into the "break" with a smashing win, and the chance to get alone at 1st place with 33 points, which might be a scenario. These matches has always been more of a goalshow than a hockeymatch, as Tonsberg Vikings does not posess any threat to Valerenga. The historical results has been 5-0-1 and 35-23 on goal difference in Valerenga's favor since Tonsberg got promoted to Eliteserien.

The key for Valerenga is to keep the motivation skyhigh through all 60 minutes as the quastion is only how much goals it is going to be. Even if Tonsberg finally got a victory last match, they have lost their two previous games before that with 8-2 agianst Frisk Asker (7th) and 8-2 (6th). Their last three against Valerenga have ended over 8,5 goals, with the score of 3-7, 9-4 and 6-8. The result of 6-8 came back in September 29th this year, in a game where Valerenga had totally controll for a long time and should have scored at least 10 goals. However, their concentration went down and they let Tonsberg score 6 goals. It is now doubt of that the score will be over this line. Even if nine goals is a lot, it is top versus bottom here and Tonsberg's lack of level gives me no reason not to go flat out on another goalshow from Valerenga especially, and Tonsberg to maybe get 2-4 goals if the concentration drops a bit during the end of the
