Fulham vs Cardiff by Sureseye

Gareth Mc Auley's last minute equalizer prevented Fulham from recording their first home win in the league when they welcomed WestBrom. The side did mount pressure away to Chelsea and if they'd conveted their chance, things could have been difficult for the Maurinho side. Apart from their opening 1-0 win on travel to Sunderland, Fulham knew no win in the next four matches in the league but they made a soaring 2-1 over Everton in the mid-week cup came, registering why home games will matter in their gathering of points as the season progresses.

Dimitar Berbatov who got the equalizer against Everton should now return to the line up but Bryan Ruiz is still doubtful. Maarten Stekelenburg is not expected to return until next week while Aaron Hughes and Matthew Briggs should be available.

Cardiff have already posed two good home result, winning 3-2 over Manchester City and forced everton to a barren draw. Like most newly promoted sides, home form counts a lot while they try to record 'available' points away from home. Last match welcoming Tottenham they were outclassed and scoreline could have been bigger than the eventual 1-0 scoreline.

Cardiff are on the back of a 3-2 loss to WestHam in the Carling cup and will be keen on a redemption sought, searching for their first away victory in the Premier League. Fulham however seems to be getting their rythm having at the back of their mind that matches like this should be 'must-win'. The return of Berbatov will further boost the team as they search their first victory at home, and that I expect easy or hard.
