Nottingham vs Derby by Tullamore
The most interesting game on the island this weekend, considering these team's rivalry and specially their fans hatred for each other.
Brian Clough has passed away almost a decade ago and there aren't many things left, to connect these two clubs except for their eternal rivalry and... his son, who is Derby's manager and former legend of Nottingham Forest.
Anyway... the Championship is at the 9th day while Nottingham is lying at the 6th place of the table counting 15 points, Derby County is 4 points down at the 12th place. The more impressive fact here is that the guests haven't won at home this season, but are already counting 3 victories and a draw at 4 road games.
The Rams have scored 12 times at these 4 road games, while allowed just 4! It seems that they will be dangerous once more against the Forest, which has recorded good results at home so far.
The hosts have an average of more than 2 goals per home game, while they have conceded 2 goals at the two previous home games and considering the thing that they haven't kept a clean sheet at their last 5 games regardless the competition, i think that this will be a great clash!
I feel that this will be an open game, despite the fact that it really matters to take the victory at East Midlands derby. Both will find a way to score, as long as their defenses are not so solid and in my eyes the price at 3 goals is fair enough to back it.
In other words... pick over 3.5 goals and good luck!
