Darmstadt vs Schalke 04 by Marinos
In their last two weeks they have won 4:0 over Duisburg on the road, while they have humiliated Hansa Rostock with a 6:0 victory at home few days ago. Unlike from the previous season, they seem not to have any offensive problems this time. Coach announced that he will keep the squad with two strikers again, trying to be as offensive as possible. Hosts will be without midfielder Baier and right back Ratei, while the new loss is substitute striker Hubner.
Schalke is of course huge favorite to get the qualification here, but they might not be having such an easy path as the coach has announced that he will rest several players for this game. They are coming from a 0:4 loss at home against Bayern and will surely try to get back to the winning ways in order to improve the atmosphere.
They will be without goalkeeper Hildebrand, but also without midfielders Draxler and Boateng, while Salah is doubtful. Huntelaar, Papadopoulos, Kolasinac, Obasi and Annan are already long term absentees, while the second consecutive match losses left back Fuchs.
As said, Schalke is a favorite but winning over -1.5 handicap seems like a far away from reality for them as the hosts aren't weak at all, while Schalke will field up almost their second team having in mind they already have more than a few players injured, while the coach would like to rest some of his most important players that played most of the matches too.
