Leicester vs Derby by Marinos

3rd round of Capitol One Cup competition bring us a game between two Championship sides as Leicester welcomes Derby this evening. Home side is in much better form and after eight rounds in the league they have 5-2-1 record and are currently at third position, only three points away from the first place.

Early in the season, they look like one of the hottest candidates to get the promotion to the Premier League and surely it's their primary target for now. Striker Wood and defender St Ledger aren't calculated for this game due to injury, while newly signed Polish defender Wasilewski from Anderlecht might be given a debut tonight.

Derby, on the other side, is coming from a 1:3 disappointing loss against Reading previous weekend and cannot be completely satisfied with their start in the new season as the team counts 3-2-3 record, although it's not far away from their reality.

Coach will surely give some playing time to players that didn't play a lot this Summer, while defenders O'Brien and Barker remain injured, same as midfielders Hendrick and Bailey.

Both teams were as aggressive as possible this season, mostly trying to score goals rather than defending. Similar is expected tonight, even more because it's a Cup game and whenever one teams score, the other one will have to chase the result.pin
