West Ham vs Everton

West-Ham
VS
Everton
Big Sam's side are having little effort in front of goalpost as they continue to miss striker Andy Carol (7 goals/24 games last season). The side are coming off a 0-0 on travel to Southampton, registering just a shot on goal. Only a late minute goal from Jeremaine Pennant, Richard Matts penalty in their 2-1 over Cheltenham in Carling cup ensured West Ham haven't kept a clean sheet in all their previous six matches (including friendly against Espanyol).

West Ham continues to be without injured striker Andy Carroll who is without participation so far, while midfielders Joe Cole and Stewart Downing are still injured. Left defender George McCartney could make the starting line-up after overcoming the injury that saw him without participation before now.

Everton are coming off a commendable 1-0 peep over Chelsea with a goal from Steven Naismith shortly before the half-time mark. The result meant they've kept a clean sheet in their last 3 matches, with their goal against Chelsea been the only scored on the process. Roberto Martinez is happy with the team plays as he continues to emphasize possessive football and had warned his men to be weary of dead balls situation.

New loan arrival Romelu Lukaku is

in line to make his debut, while fellow striker Arouna Kona has overcome a knee injury. Darron Gibson is also fit, but Steven Pienaar could miss out with a hamstring injury.

Both defence lines have been stout in recent lines. Hosts faces some absence that will continue to lessen their creativity upfront while the new attack of Everton might need more time to gel.
