Chippa United vs FC Cape Town by Sureseye

Premiership relegated Chippa are now the big spenders in First Division with the clear intent of returning to the Premiership. Peter Koutroulis, the club’s new CEO had declared: “The mission is to go back to the PSL.”

This season, Chippa will do without last season top goal-scorer Welcome Qalanto, Msekeli Mvalo, Mkhanyisile Siwahla, Benjani Mwaruwari and William Twala.

The atmosphere in the team is good as they welcome their first home match and are eager to record anothe victory; they are coming from a 4-2 win over Rovers on travel and were already 3 goals up by half-time. Host could reduce the deficit 3-2 before guest finally dented the hopes of the guest coming back into the game as Robin Rhode scored a fourth for Chippa.

This will be FC Cape Town's first match in the season. The side are generally poor travellers and their buys are yet to be tested.
