Kenya vs Namibia by Sureseye

Both teams are out of contention for the World cup qualifier race but Kenya's coach has called up a strong line-up in a bid to win his second of out of the 7 matches under him since taking over the managing Harambee stars. He's working on continuity plans to build a team that will be competitive in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations and onwards to the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

According to him, his line-up will ensure the junior players learn from the senior players. Dennis Oliech (AC Ajaccio, France) and Victor Wanyama (Southampton, England) with other 4 foreign based players alongside 16 home based players (who will not have fitness question as their league is ongoing) will file out against Namibians.

"Are you asking me to intentionally leave out my best players for a competitive match," Amrouche had wondered rhetorically.

Namibia are third on the table and as said earlier have no chance of qualifying to the next phases of the qualifiers. They've recorded a win over today's opponent 1-0 and coach Ricardo Manetti admits things have changed since then. For this clash, Namibia have come with a mixed squad and will be without captain Da Costa Angula while experienced striker Henrico Botes was excused but Manetti has expressed his confidence in the players chosen.

Coach Amrouche though yet to record a win in International competition since taking over the Kenyan national team, during which he played the African champions twice (1-1 and 0-1), played a 2-2 away to Malawi, he will no doubt motivate his men to get him his first win in international competition since taking over - they've also got 40 million Kenyan fans that needs be appealed as they file out with their strong line-up against a weaker Namibia.
