Venue: Stanford Bridge (cap. 41.841)
Weather: 21° (Partly sunny)
Today we will see Jose Mourinho's come back in the London's club after some years spent in Inter and Chelsea. This (his returning) will have big impact for the players and that's what makes them one of the most serious title contenders this season. The chances are big, because Manchester United are yet to be seen how will behave all season long under new coach David Moyes. Hull from another angle, did spent and were active at the transfer market, buying 10 players, but also 14 went in the other direction. I don't say they have weaker side, in contrary, but these guys will have to adopt and will take some time IMO.
Chelsea: David Luiz, Juan Mata, and Victor Moses all misses out.
Hull City: Stephen Quinn is out.
Now you would ask, why to back such high line when key players like Mata and Luiz are missing, but I think Chelsea have enough depth squad to replace them vs team such Hull. Over the years, the blues have faced the likes of West Brom, Birmingham City, and Reading. Unsurprisingly, Chelsea have collected the most number of Premier League points from the opening weekend among the current crop of 20 clubs. They also have scored the most number of goals (43) in the opening weekend. I bellive this trend is likely to continue and all the lads will want to earn their place under the new respected coach.
