Luton had a great pre-season ahead of their season kick-start, including a 2-0 win over Aston Villa. They score freely and don’t leave too much space at the back. First match in the league was their 1-0 loss at Southport home, where they played not too impressive. Southport didn’t look threatening in the match and despite Luton played poorly, they could have still earned a victory as Andre Gray missed a very great chance and Shaun missed a penalty. Coach John Still has vowed to bounce the team back to a positive result today. The Hatters have appealed against the red card shown to Steve McNulty's at Southport after replays showed he was wrongly awarded a red card. Team had however prepared in training with and without him. Jon Shaw, Ronnie Henry (team captain) and Alex Lawless all missed Saturday’s defeat but there are strong indications that Jon Shaw and Alex might return to the squad today following their recoveries from injury.

Clovis Kamdjo is yet to gell well with Salisbury as they were defeated at home when they welcomed Tarmworth. The club spent two seasons in the Conference South before winning promotion to the Conference Premier via the play-offs in the 2012–13 seasons, capitalizing on home matches and were average travellers (9 - 4 - 8). In their 1-0 loss at home, they didn’t play impressive and showed many weaknesses.

Today, Luton should hopefully bounce back on their fortress!
