Gamba Osaka vs Avispa Fukuoka by Catalonec
Raither this game as potencial goal scoring fiesta since few facts.
It’s not a big surprise to confirm that Gamba Osaka is the overish team in J-2 League and overall all seasons long as part of JJ or lower league. Simple, the way of their playing is nice offensive, based on open minded football, a lot of attacking and great scoring moods. Changing tactics almost every game from 4-4-2 to 4-2-3-1 where are pushing the pressure on the wingers. At any case, the super forward Usami, attacking midfielders Omori and the changing doubles behand the forwards Endo and Futagawa or Okazaki and Myojin are always on high possible level. Paulinho and Leanardo, the two Brazilian are also taking part of the most powerfull attack of the league who menaged to score 58 goals so far. Their defence plays with a lot up and downs, for this league looks like one average. It’s far away from convinsing one, that’s was presented many teams this season, expecialy on their last three games.
While, 7th placed team of Fukuoka is one of the team which is trying to catch play-off position of the table. Are just 4 points behind the play-off line, still a lot of job to do. This team is not getting any status of oversih team, they just have one average squad which is capable to score and concede but not on level as Gamba. Never managed a big scoring road result from August 2012 but I think that time for changing that famous run of 20 games just came. Fukuoka showed nice scoring mood lately, scoring 7 goals on the last 4 games with 5 conceded as well. The reason of that is changing their tactics mostly. The usual tactics what are using is 3-4-3, with transition on the wings which goes like 3-2-5 on front. Lately, the coach is testing 3-2-3-2 where the transition is going into 3-2-1-2-1 with very open wings and the craziest one is far away from normal but bring nice results and that’s 3-3-4 with 4 forwards at front. For tomorrow’s clash I don’t have on mind which one will be prepared but for one thing I’m sure.
Gamba is posted like small favourite. The hosts are looking the win the match since the competition for the championship race became pretty unstable and very tough since the points difference came on only one point. Expect strong start from the home side, some attacking minded tactics like 4-2-3-1 with a lot of pressure on visitors 3rd last defensive players, most of the actions to came from the wings transition which should bring many scoring chances and with the forwards potencial they had, the scoring results should come. While, Fukuoka have nothing to lose here just simple to use the open space, try to forse counter-attacking way of playing with big spase on wings sides and with their standars 2 or 2+2 forwards to cause many problems on home side defence and scoring some goals.
If the things start to go like I bealive, hope we can see real scoring fiesta, many scored goals on both sides, like many of their mutual meetings.
