Niagara United vs Windsor Border Stars by Sureseye

It is by not too much surprise that Niagara currently sits at the bottom of the league. Although surprisingly ended 8th in their inaugural participation last season in the league, positions 6th - 9th were keenly contested and had just 4 points separated them. The dieing moments of the season payed off for Niagara as they won 15 out of the available 18 points. Thereafter, they were eliminated by Toronto Croatia in the Quarter finals play-offs. Anyway, so far this season, Niagara are the worst team in almost everything but ironically on travel; they are last on the league table (1-3-8), haven't won any match at home, lost all the last 5 matches, league's lowest scoring team (11goals in 12 matches in a league where goals are scored for fun).

Some teams started their campaign late in the league for different reasons and Windsor Border Star club is one of them following the postponement of their opener against St. Catherines due waterlogged pitch. Thereafter, they've had tight schedules. For instance, they played on the 22/06 and the following day 23/06; 06/07 and 08/07; 14/07 and 15/07. As expected, fatigue began to tell on the team, and consequently in results. They have failed to win their last two matches without scoring in the process. Their last match was at home welcoming Serbia White Eagles; guest pulled a fast one on the host resulting in a second minute early goal and the home side were reduced to 10 men in first half. Like he stated in their season opener against Kingston, head coach Steve Vagnini will have to prove that their last season's 4th position wasn't a fluke and he can start from here, winning next two matches and mount pressure on Waterloo. For this match, Windsor will welcome back midfielder Michael Watson who has recovered from injury since 2012 and Stephen Ademolu who is back from a three game suspension.

Windsor will come out smoking on a good day when well rested before a match but were unfortunate in their last two matches and nursed some absences which are back for today's clash at Niagara. Over 3.5 and a Windsor win should be worth considering here!
