Bayern Munich vs Barcelona by Sureseye

It could mean more than friendly when pep takes on his former club – Barcelona who would have a great deal to prove after the 7-0 humiliation at the UCL. After a year leaving the club he coached, Pep Guardiola’s Bayern side will now welcome Barcelona to the Alianza arena.

Preparing to Faca a Munich already deep in the pre-season preparations, Barcelona arrived in Munich without a head coach after Tito Vilanova resigned on Friday, as he battles against cancer.

Both teams though are expected to name a weakened squad for this match; Bayern’s Bastian Schweinsteiger and Mario Goetze are both recovering from injury while new Brazil star Neymar and Spain's Carles Puyol, who is working his way back to fitness after knee surgery in March, are expected to be out.

Being a friendly match, with although largely rotated line-ups expected, both teams have players that have goals in their legs and it will be hard not to see this ending in goals.
