Nishikori vs Leonardo Mayer by 20legend

The Argentinian Leonardi Mayer did make a solid performance in the first round as he beat Bedene 3-0 (6-2, 6-3, 6-4), as he was perticulary good on his own servings. Mayer has some heavy baseline-strokes in addition to his good servings and Mayer could also be able to produce on fast surfaces as in Wimbeldon.

Kei Nishikori did beat Ebden easily with 3-0 (6-2, 6-4, 6-3) in what was a comfortable win. The Japanese does enjoy the quick surface very much, and he is often good in the returning-phase, which often puts pressure on his opponents during the rallies.

This is a match which I am quite sure that Nishikori will win as he is a better grass-player. However, I fancy Mayer to take one set from this match, or at least go close some sets, but if that’s going to happen, Mayer must keep on to his good servings today as well. Nishikori has been producing various results at times, as he has got some surprising loses this season. I will definitely try over 31,5 games in this one.
