Mexico vs Paraguay by 20legend

Mexico is seen as one of the favorites in this tournament, but they managed to lose their opening game against Greece (1-2). Mexico got an early goal against, while they made it 1-1 after 40 minutes, thanks to a freekick. However, Mexico was the better team during the first half, and they continued to produce chances in the second half as well. But just two minutes before full time, it was Greece that took all three points, after a cracker of a shot by Panionios. That result made a dreamstart for Greece, while Mexico is pressured towards this game, which they must win in order to get a good chance of proceeding in the World Cup.

In the other match in Group D, Paraguay played against Mali which ended in a 1-1 draw. Both teams scored within the first seven minutes of the game, while it turned into a close battle all the way throughout the rest of the match.

Mexico, who won the NCACAF-Championship for U20 earlier this year, really has the pressure on them towards this game as mentioned. Paraguay will not be an easy task to handle, as they also could take a huge step towards proceeding if they win here as well. Mexico produced enough chances to win against Greece, while both Paraguay and Mali seemed to take the foot of the gas after an early 1-1 score. Therefore I think that both teams will be able to score here, as they both have an offensive mentality when playing. I fancy Mexico to win as I think that the pressure would result in at least two goals for them, while I think that Paraguay may struggle more and maybe score one goal. I can therefore see at least three goals coming in this
