Bolungarvik vs Fjallabygdar by 20legend

Bolungarvik has been very impressive in the start of this season as they have got 4-0-1 in their five games. They have been strong at home, winning both of their games here against Trottur Reykjavik (11th, 2-1) and Selfoss (6th, 4-3). However, their big problem is the amount of goals that they concede at all times. Bolungarvik has 12-12 on goal difference, and they must do something about it if they want to keep themselves at the very top of the league, as they do at the moment. Bolungarvik is in 4th place ahead of this game, but they could climb to 2nd place, with the same amount of points as 1st placed Grandavik, if they win tonight.

KF seems to have picked up where they left of defensively from last season after 1-3-1 in their five games this season. KF got promoted from 2.Division last season were they let in 23 goals in 22 games. So far this season, KF has let in six goals in their five games, but some of the opponents have been very strong, which makes that number even more impressive for a newly promoted team. KF Today’s away team has met Leiknir Reykjavik (3rd place) away from home which ended in a 1-1 draw, Vikingur Reykjavik (5th place) away from home which ended 1-1 and they also met the 2nd placed Haukar at home in their last game which also ended with a 1-1 draw.

Bolungarvik is really on to something in the start of this season, and they have 6-4 on goal difference at home after their two victories here. KF has done quite well after the promotion, and they have shown that they are very hard to break down even against good opponents away from home. However, Bolugarvik should be the better team here, as they have scored the second highest amount of goals so far in the league (12).

Their problem is not to concede goals, so I therefore choose Bolungarvik over 1,5 goals as they have done so in three of their last four games now. KF should not be able to manage another 1-1 draw here, because I see Bolungarvik’s offensive players and their way of attacking as better than KF’s previous opponents have had.

Bolungarvik has brought in especialy two strong players, in attacker Ben Everson (3/5, former York City, and Gateshead) and the well-known midfielder Nigel Quashie (3/5) who has experience from Premier League for West Ham, Portshmouth, Southampton, Queens Park Rangers and Nottingham Forrest. I see Bolungarvik to score at least two goals as very possible.
