Tursunov vs Hanescu by 20legend
Tursunov suprprised a lot in his first round when he beat Dolgopolov with a sollid 3-0 (7-6, 6-4, 7-6). However, the match was very close in the first set ans third set especially. Tursunov is not a typical clay-player, but he has shown this year that he can make some damage at this surface if his strong serve is within range. That was a fact against Dolgopolov.
Hansecu played against Bernard Tomic in his first round, but I was not impressed by the guy from Romania. Tomic was even injured, but Hanescu still struggled to seal the game, as Tomic had enough chances. However, Tomic only managed to take advantage at 1 of 11 breakballs by the time of two sets. After the close second set, Tomic retired from the game.
H2H: Tursunov is leading by 3-1 as every meeting have been between 2007-2009.
Tursunov have shown some okay form at the clay before the French Open, as he also did well in Barcelona. I was not impressed by Hansecu in his first match, and I therefore expected a quite open game here. Tursunov made two sets in tiebreak against Dolgopolov, while Hanescu did one against Tomic. I belive that it would be a close match and the chances of a tiebreak is very good in this match.
