Sociedad vs Granada by Jamesington

There can not be many more exciting teams to watch in Europe's major leagues than Real Sociedad. Having scored 15 times in their past 4 home matches (and conceded 8 as well) they tend not to fail to provide entertainment at the Estadio Municipal de Anoeta.

Incredibly, given where they have been over the past few seasons Sociedad find themselves fighting for the 4th Champions League spot and after a 4-2 win over closest rivals Valencia (not to mention the 4-2 win over Malaga the week previously) they look set to secure a place in Europe for the first time since 2003.

After a poor start to the season Real have turned into the form team of La Liga, losing only 1 of their past 25 matches, even beating Barcelona at home 3-2. Today, the side they face are in a very different position. Granada are struggling at the bottom end of the league and look like they will be fighting against relegation until the very last week of the season - they still must play Valencia away from home too.

Granada have hit a little spurt of form, winning their past 2 games 1-0, but it is tough to see them taking any points off a Sociedad team which is in rampant form - particularly at home. Sociedad have won their past 3 matches by a margin of at least 2 goals (all against teams significantly better than Granada) and in two of those games they were 3-0 up in the first half!

Despite their upturn in form over the past two matches I feel they will lose this match - likely by at least a couple of goals. Their last two away trips to top half opposition resulted in 3-0 and 5-0 defeats and Sociedad have the attacking quality to inflict such a beating on them.

There is a good chance that, as against Malaga and Valladolid, Real will come out with a bang and I can see no reason why they are as high as 4.6 to be winning by more than a goal at half time. The victory with a 1 goal handicap is 2.3 with Boylesports and I would recommend this as the main bet with a smaller stake on the Halftime -1 market too as the value is incredible for a bet which would have won in 2 of their past 3 home games.

Staking Plan:

Real Sociedad -1 - 7pts @ 2.3 with Boylesports

Real Sociedad -1 at halftime - 3pts @ 4.6 with Ladbrokespin

Nice tip.
Real Sociedad in good form.. i expect them to win big tonight, if they want to play in CL next season needs a win.
Granada is safe imo.
Good luck Jamesington.
