Everton vs West Ham by Jamesington

Everton

West-Ham
Similarly to the big game at Old Trafford we have here a long-term manager taking charge of his club for the last time at home. David Moyes is one of the longest serving managers in the Premier League and he has achieved massive amounts at Everton, therefore he will be hoping to go out with a bang.

I am becoming of the view that backing teams to win simply 'because they have to' is really not the way forward, despite the bookmakers offering generally lower odds when this is the situation but Everton really should be winning today against the Hammers - who are comfortably mid-table and are unlikely to spoil the party on Merseyside.

Everton have won their last 5 matches at home, including a fixture against 2nd-placed Man City, being in a winning position at half-time in ALL of the games.

Last week, at Upton Park, West Ham came into the match more late on against Newcastle but the Geordies could have been in the lead at half time had Cissé's goal actually counted - whether the ball crossed the line or not is debatable. With this in mind I think backing Everton to be winning at both half time and full time is the way forward at cracking odds of 2.45. The home side are seriously strong favourites - at odds of around 1.5/1.6 to win the match so to have near 2.5 available is definitely good value.
