Dortmund vs Malaga by Marlo
I am in fact a bit surprised how much of a mismatch the books suggest for this one, particularly with regards to Malaga scoring. Dortmund are the only team not to have lost a home game in this competition and I think that is why they are being overvalued here. However, this is a match they should win and seem capable of doing so. However, after the first leg being a bore draw Malaga would need to score here if Dortmund score, which in all likelyhood they will do at least once. Dortmund conceded twice at the weekend in a pretty fiesty affair with Augsburg. In fact, they lead, conceded and had to come from behind to get the victory. An erratic performance to say the least.
Malaga, on the other hand, conceded 4 goals at the weekend and could only score two in return. It will be very difficult for them to contain Dortmund on home turf with the massive offensive potential at their disposal.
An early goal would set this game up nicely.
Malaga tend to be more defensively solid in Champions League matches, but given the nature and context of this tie they will have to get a goal to have a chance so I expect an oppen affair.
Odds are worthwhile, generally around evens. An alternative market is for Dortmund to win and over 2.5 goals.
All the best.
