Sorana Cirstea to win against Jelena Jankovic is the bet of the day for me; the romanian has played magnificently yesterday, thrashing Angelique Kerber 6-4, 6-0 in a one sided game. Once again the commentators stood in awe and marvelled how this player who possesses so many great weapons fails to exhibit her A game more often and is only placed 27 even if she is made from top 3 material. But the last games showed an improved Cirstea even when she was behind on the score table her attitude was positive understandind that a loss doesn't represent the end of the world. Her recent performances make me think that 2013 will bring a new Sorana Cirstea. This is not a fan's oppinion, I'm not her fan, I only point what most of the people following WTA already say: thay she has am amazing potential, great weapons comparable with those of Azarenka or Sharapova and if she only marginaly rises up to her native talent she is a very though nut to crack. Jankovic...the same old Jankovic who seems in disarray, she won the Bogota tournament, but the opposition was very weak, and I don't think that she is really ecstatic with that win, eventhough she didn't won a tournament in almost 3 years. I think that Cirstea has a great chance to get to the semifinals here, in the next round the winner of this match will take on Cornet/Vinci, and I'm very confident that Sorana will be that player.
