At first look this is surface which suits much more to Serbian player, Viktor Troicki then to Andujar-Alba. But much more important from surface, this time will be current form and there I see nice advantage on the side of Spanish player. Andujar has not played too much lately on hard court. In Indian Wells he beat Steve Johnson and then in second round lost in two close sets (one Tie-Break) to Tommy Haas. On the other side Troicki was much more on hard courts but his results are embarrassing. After some small injury in Montpellier, Troicki lost every time in opening round. The truth is Troicki had also some strong opponents like Gasquet or Djokovic but he was losing also from players in terrible form like it was in Indian Wells from David Goffin. In the meantime, Troicki had to travel to Dallas (challenger) to record one win and to stop long losing streak. But even there he was defeated as soon as he reached on little more serious opponent (second round vs Philipp Petzschner).
Back to first round in Miami, IMO everything is possible but the last what we can expect is to Troicki wins in straight sets.
My pick is Andujar-Alba (+1.5) set handicap.
