Make no mistake this will be a good showdown.
However, I feel that spurs are being underrated despite their amazing current 12 game unbeaten record. Also, the fatigue factor after the Europa league showdown with Inter on Thursday may also have been factored in.
However, Liverpool have returned to a bit of form, albeit against Swansea and Wigan, sides no way near the quality of Spurs. However, Liverpool have made the most of those outings and ran out 5-0 and 4-0 winners.
Liverpool have won 6 of their last 8 home games. They have only won 1 of their last 7 against Spurs both home and away.
Spurs look to have all the makings of a clinical side. They may lack an out and out striker but they have excellent midfielders in the form of Bale and Dembele who ensure that the attacking potential is not limited to a striker. Defoe is a poacher and can hit form at any time as well.
Liverpool will rely on Suarez, the leading scorer in the league. However, he won't have such an easy day as against Wigan where he hit a hat trick, but he should have his chances and may well score here.
I fancy a Spurs win with a 2-1 scoreline. However, a safer result could be Spurs double chance or draw no bet.
All the best.
