During the season when Caja has replaced head coach Ivanovic with Zan Tabak, everything started to go in positive direction for them. They have made long series of victories, 19 in a row if I remember well including 8 straight in Euroleague (four last in first stage and first four in second group stage). But seems that Magic of Zan Tabak has gone, at least for a while. Now Caja Laboral is in series of four straight defeats in EL and with score of 4-4 they trail one win to 4th place that leads to QF. But note 4 defeats I mentioned above are all against top four teams in this group and I would say the only unexpected was at home to Khimki.
On the other side Maccabi Tel Aviv plays with lot of ups and downs. Even with this four straight defeats, I have much more trust in Caja Laboral then in Maccabi.
Spanish team also won first head to head of the season on the court of Nokia Arena in Tel Aviv. Here in Spain, Caja leads 4-1 in all time mutual meetings.
