Inverness vs Celtic Glasgow by Jamesington

Celtic have a big match on Tuesday night against Juventus in the last 16 of the Champions' League. What many people (and I believe the bookmakers as well) are forgetting is that they have a big match on Saturday as well, away at Inverness.

If Celtic win this match they can stretch their lead at the top of the SPL to 18 points, a headstart which no side has ever failed to win the title from. The Bhoys can effectively wrap up another league title by beating 2nd place Inverness in this midday televised match-up.

Having watched Celtic live twice in the past month, I can assure that they are a top quality team and if they turn up wanting to win in the Highlands this weekend they should do so well. Inverness are a good side but they have hit a speedbump in the road and failed to win in any of their past three matches.

ICT will be looking to get back to winning ways but against a Celtic side who have won 9 of their past 10 league matches they are likely to come up short. Gary Hooper is in extraordinary goal-scoring form and is likely to find the net (before perhaps finding himself substituted in anticipation of the European tie) against an ICT team who have conceded more goals than any other club in the top half.

Celtic's last three visits to Inverness have resulted in two-goal victories for the Glasgow club and I think this could be another , but take the value on offer for a victory and count your winnings.
