Panathinaikos vs Fenerbahce by Clinch

First game ended 73:64. It was easy win for Turkish team and Panathinaikos took some point difference only at the last quarter to make the result more acceptable.

There are many uncertain things around this game, who will play or not, ex Pao player Batiste got contained for not paying taxes to Greece, at the same time Greeks are preparing ceremony for the same guy as he played with them for many years etc.

Panathinaikos secured their Top 16 spot while Fenerbahce situation is not that clear yet. It is definitely a surprise after good start and good roster they have this season. They have an excuse as this is strong group. In the next round Pao will play with Khimki while Fenerbahce will host Cantu, their threat for that last spot in the group. I expect more motivation from the Turkish side because it is always tricky to decide it's destiny in the last game considering the way they lost in Italy.

Panathinaikos had more or less easy game against Olimpija while Fenerbahce had to play in Madrid. They played well until the last quarter when they fell apart.

As most of people already know, McCalebb is in the squad and now Fenerbahce will play better. I am not sure if Batiste plays, will he give the good performance against his ex team or will he again try to shoot three pointers and make distance shots without any logic. Therefore Batiste IN or OUT makes no difference in my scenario.

There is also a talk about Sofoklis, he is still unsure. In the first game they stopped him more or less and didn't let him score points but they forced him to go to free throw line. Sofo was smart and improved his attempts from charity line.

Some gut feeling tells me to go with Fenerbahce in this game due to bigger motivation and more or less good game they have.

Prediction: 72:75
